| 50mm F1.2 DG DN | Art | Ver.1.2 |
| 500mm F5.6 DG DN OS | Sports | Ver.1.2 |
What’s changed
For most lenses, the update improves operational stability, ensuring consistent performance across body firmware and lens communication. The 20mm F2 and 24mm F2 Contemporary lenses specifically receive exposure stability enhancements.
The updates are available through SIGMA’s firmware download page. Users can update via in-camera firmware update for L-Mount bodies that support it, or by connecting the lens to a computer through the SIGMA USB Dock UD-11 using the SIGMA Optimization Pro software. SIGMA recommends updating Optimization Pro to the latest version before applying lens firmware.
Download instructions
Lens owners can find the firmware files on SIGMA’s official support page. For in-camera updates, navigate to the appropriate lens product page, select L-Mount, and follow the before-update instructions. Dock users will see an automatic prompt when a newer firmware version is detected.
The update is free and available immediately.
