September 1, 2025 — Chinese lens manufacturer Viltrox has officially released the AF 56mm F1.2 Pro APS-C lens, the third model in its Pro series for APS-C cameras, following the AF 27mm F1.2 Pro and AF 75mm F1.2 Pro.
The lens features a 13-element, 8-group optical design, 11 aperture blades, a minimum focusing distance of 0.5 meters, and a 67mm filter thread. Weighing 575 grams, it incorporates dual HyperVCM focus motors, a full metal body, and dust- and moisture-resistant construction.
